All attendees, including volunteers and presenters, will be responsible for paying a registration fee. This will be used to cover food, portable toilets, and rental fees (no more than $30 for volunteers)
This is a camping event! Please be prepared to camp in a tent or RV (which you must provide for yourself). It will likely be very cold. If you need help with provisions, let us know. We can help.
If you're not actively involved in a job duty or preparing for a workshop, please attend a workshop. Participation is a key to the success of this conference.
Understand that while you may not be a student's direct teacher, you will still be influential over their mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Please be sure you understand some concepts of physical, emotional, and spiritual guardianship.
Please complete the required Volunteer Training by January 15th.
This is a sober event - for everybody! There is no alcohol or illicit drug use tolerated - not even for altar offerings. Legal prescription medications and legal tobacco use are fine.
If you're selected to present, you'll be notified by January 1st.
Please be prepared with a handout of some variety. At the very least, a list of books or other resources the students can use for follow-through. We will make this available on the web before the conference so students can be prepared.
Watch your email for important updates and deadlines - this is generally how we'll communicate.
General Expectations for Presenters:
Be prepared for your presentation!
Practice it!
You'll have 50 minutes, total, for the whole workshop unless otherwise designated, and 10 minutes between each session.
Read materials here for pointers, especially if you are not a veteran workshop presenter (or even if you are)
If you're not presenting or preparing for a workshop, please attend other workshops.
